Friendship Exchange

The friendship exchanges in Rotary are when members from one club or district travel to a club or district in another country for the purpose of fellowship.  The Rotary club of Peachland, BC has invited our members to their community to reciprocate for their visit to our area last December.  Though the Peachland group spent most of the time in Leavenworth, couples from our club hosted them for a couple nights.
Peachland, which is located about 4.5 hours north of Wenatchee, sits on the shore of beautiful Lake Okanagan, and is a tourist town in the summer.  The region boasts of its wineries, water sports, hiking and biking, and beautiful scenery.
The dates are July 8-10.  We invite everyone (singles and couples) to come and enjoy the wonderful Canadian hospitality. Carol and I will leave shortly after our Tuesday morning Rotary meeting, and make our way leisurely up to Peachland, stopping for lunch, and to enjoy a winery or two.  We will be hosted by Peachland club members for two nights, and will attend their Rotary club meeting Thursday noon before heading back to Wenatchee.  This will be fun, and we encourage all who can get away to experience this friendship exchange.  Call Jim Adamson (630-8562)
if you are interested, so I can get the numbers to the Peachland club.
